Official PC requirements

These are the official minimum and recommended specs from the Steam store page, checked at launch:

DirectX 11 across the board means even older gaming PCs and many laptops are fine. The GPU is the usual gate: any card from roughly 2017 onward that clears 2 GB of VRAM meets the floor.

Download sizes on every platform

Launch-day size listings, so you can clear space before installing:

• Windows / Xbox: about 9.06 GB
• PS5: about 7 GB
• Switch 2: about 5 GB
• Switch: about 3.9 GB

Sizes will grow with patches and seasonal content, as with the original game. Keep a few GB spare on top of the base number.

The Microsoft Account requirement

One detail that surprises Steam buyers: the store page lists a Microsoft Account as a requirement, with support for linking it to your Steam account. This is normal for Xbox Game Studios titles. Your Microsoft Account is also what carries Game Pass entitlement if you play through PC Game Pass.

Languages

The game ships with 17 supported languages, including full audio in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese-Brazil, Spanish (LatAm), Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Swedish — and interface-only support for Italian, Dutch, Korean, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian.

• Game Pass subscribers on PC do not need to buy the Standard Edition separately; day-one inclusion was confirmed by Xbox Wire before launch.
